In Thursday's ASU-UCLA game, the Sun Devil crowd rushed the court. Do you think that it was called for? When do you rush the court/field? - Ruth, Tempe, Ariz.

In the case of Arizona State basketball, successful seasons are rarer than a Tim Tebow interview without a Jesus reference, so a non-conference win over Monmouth would have been suitable cause for storming the court. A victory over UCLA? I was halfway expecting the baskets to be ripped out and paraded down Mill Avenue. I am quite liberal with my court-rushing allowances. What's better than rushing a court? You get to run around after sitting/standing for two hours, you get to hang out with your favorite players, and, most of all, you get a free shot at a helpless security guard with a very small chance of getting busted for assault. So, go ahead Sun Devils, make your run. Just watch out for those tasers.

We've joined a sports blogging network. Tool around a little bit and see how you like it. There's now a message board, YouTube video player and other doohickeys.
